Vanessa, MA CCC-SLP COM®

Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist

Vanessa is the owner of ASTI and a Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her bachelor’s from Augustana and her master’s from the University of South Dakota. She started her clinic nine years ago and now serves patients in the Sioux Falls and Brandon clinics. Vanessa is interested in early intervention, feeding therapy, motor speech disorders, infant feeding, and orofacial myology. Vanessa is also an instructor for TalkTools™ and a proud creator of a 2-day continuing education course, Feeding Foundations: The Kaleidoscope Model. She also presents at webinars and speaks at various conventions for SLPs, OTs, dentists, and dental hygienists locally and internationally. When she’s not working she loves to spend time with her husband, Ryan, and her sons, Drake and Brooks. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and their favorite destinations are Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, and kid-free vacations to Napa Valley!

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jane is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received both her bachelor’s and master’s at the University of South Dakota. She serves patients at the Sioux Falls location. Jane loves to work with children of all ages and abilities. In her free time, Jane enjoys walking and hiking outdoors, as well as visiting her precious grandchildren and learning new skills (currently learning about photography)!

Katelyn is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s at Augustana University and her master’s at the University of South Dakota. She worked at ASTI as an SLP intern in 2019 and joined us full-time at the Sioux Falls clinic as a Speech Pathologist in 2020. Katelyn’s areas of interest are in early childhood language and articulation. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys reading and spending time outside in the summer.

Kelli is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota. You can find her at the Brandon clinic full-time. Kelli’s areas of interest are Oral Function and Articulation. Kelli is a mom to two children and in her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, spending time on the water, and rollercoasters!

Speech-Language Pathologist/Certified Lactation Counselor

Kelly is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor. She received her bachelor’s from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and her master’s from the University of South Dakota. Kelly splits her time between both the Sioux Falls and Brandon clinics. Her areas of interest are speech and feeding with newborn babies to adults. In her free time, Kelly loves to spend time with her husband, Andrew, and three children! She enjoys spending time with them at her family’s cabin in the summer and doing anything outdoors with the kids.

Laura is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s degree from Augustana University and her master’s degree from the University of South Dakota. Laura services patients at the Sioux Falls location. Her areas of interest include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavior management, medically complex populations, oral motor, and feeding. In her free time, Laura loves to spend time outside when the weather is nice. She also loves to motorcycle!

Logan is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota. Logan works at the Sioux Falls clinic and her areas of interest are sensory motor feeding disorders, pre/post frenectomy therapy, and birth to three. In her free time, Logan loves to spend weekends at the lake or river with friends and family. She also enjoys shopping, reading, playing with her dog, and watching shows on Netflix!

Macy’s areas of interest are oral placement therapy, apraxia of speech, tongue thrusts, and speech sound disorders. In her free time, Macy enjoys visiting new coffee shops, reading, and spending time with family at the lake!

Nikki is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s from Augustana University and her master’s from the University of South Dakota. Nikki sees her patients at the Sioux Falls clinic. Her areas of interest are Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, tethered oral tissues, and apraxia. In her free time, Nikki loves to watch her children play sports, and go cycling, camping, boating, hiking, or really anything outside!

Peyton is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota. Peyton works at the Sioux Falls clinic and her areas of interest are oral motor deficits, tongue thrusts, and speech articulation. In her free time, Peyton loves to play with her dog and spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys curling up on the couch and reading her kindle!

Madison is a Speech-Language Pathologist and received her bachelor’s from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and her master’s from the University of South Dakota. Madison services patients at the Brandon location. Her areas of interest are feeding with newborn babies to adults, medically complex populations, and oral motor. In her free time, Madison loves to spend time with her husband, Derek, and daughter Quinn. She enjoys spending time with them at the cabin in the summertime! Her and her family also enjoy bike rides and playing with there dog, Murphy!
